Being an inconsiderate asshole who doesn’t care about the environment, I take a lot of flak for my opinions but at least I speak the truth. My heart goes out to all those affected by the gulf oil spill, but seriously people, we all know why it happened. It happened because we all have an insatiable desire for oil. And its byproducts. For me, and for billions of people as well, my byproduct is gasoline. I love gasoline. I mean really really love it. I love the smell. I love how it gives my musclecar outrageous amounts of power. I love how it cleans my greasy hands after working on my gas guzzling musclecar. I would let you drill through my dead grandparents graves if you told me you could hit oil. I know, I know, EEWWWW!

Eventually another huge oil spill will push the gulf spill into history and this will keep happening for years to come. And for that, I am very sorry, but we are on a personal excess down bound train and that as well, appears to run on oil.

P.S. On a super funny side note, I loved the movie “Signs”. It scared the living crap out of me. Of course I generally don’t bother looking for logic in movies about aliens, but that’s just me.
